Acting High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Kenya, Ms. Ruvini De Silva, paid an official visit to Daystar University on 28 January 2026, where she met with Professor Samuel Muriithi, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic, Research and Student Affairs, Dr. Josephine Munyao, Dean, School of Arts and Social Sciences, Dr. Justis Musya, Head of Department of Peace and International Studies and other senior university officials. Discussions focused on strengthening academic cooperation through student and faculty exchange programmes, as well as exploring other collaborative academic initiatives of mutual benefit. During the visit, the Acting High Commissioner also met the University’s choir team and witnessed a performance, highlighting Daystar University’s vibrant cultural and artistic traditions.
